Grenadiers Roll Past Carlow 88-68

NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast led by as many as 30 points and never trailed as they pulled away in the second half for a 88-68 win over Carlow.

Five Grenadiers scored in double-figures and IU Southeast forced 21 turnovers in the win.

Joe Ferree led IU Southeast with 12 first-half points. Robert Sawyer, Tyler Landry and Cody Young each added 11 points and Jamie Johnson had 10 points.

The Grenadiers (14-4, 8-1 RSC) were dominant in the paint 48-28. IU Southeast was able to outscore the Celtics 12-2 on the fast break as the Grenadiers used their athleticism to their advantage.

IU Southeast led 41-34 at halftime and then shot 52 percent in the second half to pull away. They forced 11 turnovers in the second half and got high-percentage shots off of the miscues.

The Grenadiers host Point Park Saturday at 3 p.m.
