NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Seven Grenadiers scored in double figures as IU Southeast dominated the play versus Carlow University on Thursday.

Jamie Johnson had 18 points to lead IU Southeast. David Burton had 13 points and Kerry Smith, Jared Osborne and Glenn Hill each had 11 points while Brian Alvey added 10.

The Grenadiers (13-7, 6-3 RSC) opened the game on a 11-0 run and did not look back. They led 61-36 at halftime and by as many as 40 points in the second half.

IU Southeast shot a sizzling 73 percent from the field in the first. They outscored Carlow 35-13 in points off of turnovers and forced 24 turnovers in the contest.

The Grenadiers were able to use their speed to force turnovers and get to the basket for high-percentage shots as well as free-throws. IU Southeast shot 33 free-throws to Carlow's 16 in the game.

IU Southeast hosts Point Park University Saturday at 3 p.m.
