BECKLEY, W.V. – The No. 11 West Virginia Tech Golden Bears to 17 three-pointers get past No. 25 IU Southeast 104-77 on Thursday.

The Grenadiers (10-6, 3-2 RSC) could not match the Golden Bear firepower on this night. WVU Tech hit 17 three-pointers including 10 in the first half to take a 56-36 lead at halftime. IU Southeast uncharacteristically only hit four in the first half and 10 for the game.

IU Southeast cut the lead to 65-56 with 13:39 to play but the Golden Bears responded with a 17-3 run to put the game away.

Brandon Shingles and Junior Arrey each scored 22 points for WVU Tech, which moved to 14-2 and 5-0 in the RSC. Dominik King added 17 points and Elisha Boone added 12 points.

Jamie Johnson had 23 points, Kerry Smith had 17 points and Nick Tinsley added 10 for the Grenadiers.

IU Southeast travels to the University Rio Grande Saturday at 3 p.m.
