NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Kelsi Scott had 27 points and 13 rebounds but it was not enough as IU Southeast dropped a 69-65 decision to Brescia University on Senior Night.
The Grenadiers (15-12, 8-7 RSC) trailed 36-32 at halftime as Scott kept the Grenadiers in the game with 16 points,
IU Southeast fell behind by as many 15 points in the third quarter and trailed by 12 entering the fourth quarter.
The Grenadiers opened the fourth quarter on an 11-0 run and did allow Brescia to score until the 2:18 mark of the fourth quarter. Cassidy Moss hit a three-pointer to give the Bearcats a four-point lead that they would not relinquish. IU Southeast did not convert on a three-point field goal in the second half.
Josie Hockman had nine points and Baylee Krueger added seven in their final collegiate home games at IU Southeast.
The Grenadiers travel to Midway University Saturday at 1 p.m.
