NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast starters carried the Grenadiers to a 89-75 win over IU Kokomo in a RSC West Division rivalry game on Saturday.

Every IU Southeast starter scored in double-figures, led by Glenn Hill's 20 points.

The first half was close throughout the period. The Grenadiers took a 36-31 lead when Jaivaughn Jackson scored on a layup with 4:19 to play in the half.

IU Kokomo answered with a 8-0 run to take a 39-36 lead capped off by a Noah Harris three-point shot.

Glenn Hill tied the game with a three on the next possession. Jocobi Hendricks put the Grenadiers in front with a jumper and a Glenn Hill layup made it 44-40 IU Southeast.

Another jump shot by Jackson sent the Grenadiers to halftime with a 46-41 lead.

Hunter White cut the IU Southeast lead to 54-49 when he hit a jump shot four minutes into the second half.

Christian Stewart scored down low on the ensuing possession and after a missed layup at the other end, Anthony Wales Jr. connected from three-point range to extend the lead to 59-49.

After a IU Kokomo timeout, Caleb Brown hit a three-pointer and Stewart scored after a Cougar turnover to extend the to 64-49.

A late rally cut the Grenadier lead to 81-70 with 2:22 to play but Brown came through again with a three-pointer to put the game out of reach with two minutes to play.

Christian Stewart and Anthony Wales Jr. combined to score 20 of their 24 points in the second half to help spark the offense.

Glenn Hill finished with a game-high 20 points and eight rebounds for IU Southeast. Jocobi Hendricks had 15 points and six rebounds, Caleb Brown had 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from three-point range, Anthony Wales Jr. had 14 points and five assists and Christian Stewart had 12 points.

IU Southeast shot 58 percent from the field against a normally stingy IU Kokomo defense. IU Southeast outscored IU Kokomo 17-7 off of turnovers in the game. They also capitalized at the free-throw line shooting 14-of-18 (78 percent) at the line compared to the Cougars' 13-of-23 (57 percent).

The Grenadiers host IU East Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
