MIDWAY, Ky. – The IU Southeast volleyball team swept Midway in efficient fashion on Friday.
IU Southeast used an 11-1 run to take a commanding 18-6 lead in the first set. The Grenadiers would cruise to a 25-12 first set win.
Midway led 11-9 in the second set, but an 11-3 run by IU Southeast gave the Grenadiers a 20-14 edge. Midway cut the lead to two at 24-22, but IU Southeast held on for a 25-22 second set win.
IU Southeast never trailed in the third set as the Grenadiers would take the set 25-16 and the match 3-0.
Madison Ramsey led IU Southeast with nine kills.
Carly Mason had a team-high 21 assists and three aces.
Nicole Stratford had a team-high eight digs.
IU Southeast moves to 12-4 overall and 5-3 in RSC play. The Grenadiers return to action at IU East on Saturday.
