NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast volleyball team swept WVU Tech in straight sets on Friday in the team's Dig Pink match.
 
WVU Tech started hot, leading 10-5 early in set one. IU Southeast chipped away at the lead, tying the set at 11-11. WVU Tech led 17-15, but IU Southeast closed the set on a 10-1 run to take the set 25-18.
 
IU Southeast used a big run midway through the second set to take an 18-12 lead. IU Southeast would go on to win the second set 25-17.  
 
IU Southeast opened the third set with 10 straight points and would cruise to a 25-10 third set win, securing the match sweep.
 
Madison Ramsey led IU Southeast with 11 kills and 2.0 blocks. Ella Brooks had 10 kills, and Allison Daves had nine. Carly Mason led IU Southeast with 25 assists and a pair of aces.
 
"We played for something bigger than volleyball tonight and it was a special feeling," Taylor Wilson-Evanczyk said. "Excited to tackle the weekend at home and continue to get better every match and every day."
 
IU Southeast moves to 11-3 overall and 4-2 in RSC play. The Grenadiers return to action on Saturday at home against Rio Grande.
