NEW ALBANY, Ind. –
Jesse Ledgerwood and
Linzie Wernert were both named to the RSC Women's Basketball All-Conference Second Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Ledgerwood, a junior guard from Washington, Ind., is averaging a career-best 12.3 points per game. Ledgerwood has hit 54 threes this year, which is sixth most in the RSC and also serves as a career best. She has set a career-high in nearly every other statistical category as well, including field goal percentage, three-point percentage, free throw percentage, rebounds, assists, and steals.
Wernert, a sophomore forward from Lanesville, Ind., is averaging 10.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The rebounds per game rank seventh in the RSC. Wernert is also shooting 50.4 percent from the field, which is eighth best in the conference.
