NEW ALBANY, Ind. - IU Southeast women's basketball released their schedule for the 2026-27 season Wednesday afternoon.
The 2026-27 women's basketball schedule features 27 games, including 16 River States Conference games and 12 games against teams who qualified for the 2026 NAIA Women's Basketball Tournament.
IU Southeast opens the season at Taylor University on October 23. After taking on the Trojans, the Grenadiers have a three-game homestand, including the home opener against Spring Arbor on October 28. The Grenadiers will then take on Georgetown on November 4, then Campbellsville five days later.
Coach Abby Downard's squad opens River States Conference play against Rio Grande at home on November 16, then have back-to-back road games to close out November.
The Grenadiers have back-to-back home games to open December, starting with Pikeville on December 2, then the defending NAIA Champion Marian Knights on December 8. After two road trips, the Grenadiers close out the 2026 half of their schedule against Bethel University on December 14 then IU Columbus five days later, both at home.
IU Southeast opens the 2027 half of their schedule with a 1:00 p.m. home game against RSC foe Brescia on January 2. One week later, the IU Kokomo Cougars come to New Albany.
After five consecutive road games, the Grenadiers return home for a Saturday afternoon game against Saint Mary of the Woods to close out the month of January. The Grenadiers open February at IU Columbus before having two home games in three days from February 4-6.
The first of the Grenadiers' two home games pits the Grenadiers against the Midway Eagles, then IU Southeast will take on the IU East Red Wolves two days after. After a pair of road contests, the Grenadiers return home and will honor their senior class before taking on WVU-Tech on February 20.
