NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The 10
th ranked IU Southeast baseball team fell to (RV) Oakland City 11-2 on Thursday.

Hazel Martinez in the bottom of the first put IU Southeast ahead 1-0.
The game remained 1-0 until the sixth when Oakland City scored two runs to take a 2-1 lead.
A
Logan Murphy walk with the bases loaded in the sixth tied the game at 2-2.
Oakland City scored a run in the seventh to take a 3-2 lead. The Mighty Oaks then scored seven runs in the eighth and another run in the ninth to take an 11-2 lead, which would be the final score.
Preston Shelton and
Logan Murphy each had two hits.
Logan Beard doubled, which was the lone extra base hit for the Grenadiers.
Brendan Whalen took the loss, allowing three runs in 6.1 innings.
Luke Shelton,
Cade Rusch,
Nick Pazos, and
Aiden Darlage followed in relief.
No. 10 IU Southeast falls to 28-10 overall and 15-3 in RSC play. The Grenadiers return to play on Friday, which will be Senior Day.
