NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Junior
Jake Gothrup has been named the River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
The RHP from Lafayette, Ind, earned a save this past week in the 6-4 Grenadier win against (RV) Faulkner University. Gothrup threw five scoreless innings, allowing no hits while striking out nine batters.
This season, Gothrup has a 2.08 ERA, striking out 25 batters in 13.0 innings. Gothrup is second in the conference for strikeouts and is fifth in the conference for saves.
