NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Officials of the River States Conference announced that IU Southeast sophomore pitcher Emma Davis is this week's RSC Softball Pitcher of the Week.  

The announcement from the RSC comes after Davis's great week in the circle for the Grenadiers. Davis pitched two complete games last week, going 1-1. Davis pitched 5.0 innings against WVU-Tech, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out six during the Grenadiers' 8-0 win over the Golden Bears. On Saturday, Davis pitched 9.0 innings against Rio Grande, allowing one run on six hits and seven strikeouts.  

Over the two games, Davis had 14.0 combined innings of work, allowing one run on nine hits and 13 strikeouts. David and the Grenadiers will be back in action Tuesday for a doubleheader against IU Columbus.
