NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Indiana University Southeast senior Drew Evans was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 5.
Evans pitched six innings and only allowed one unearned run as the Grenadiers defeated Berea College 5-3 on March 3. The senior pitcher allowed four hits and struck out six batters. He is 1-1 on the season with a 5.40 earned run average and 10 strikeouts in 10 innings pitched.
IU Southeast is 5-6 overall and 4-0 in conference play. They will return to action on March 6 when they host Georgetown College for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
