NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast never trailed and led by as many as 23 points as they defeated former conference foe Berea College 82-62 on Thursday.

Baylee Krueger led the Grenadiers with 14 points and had seven rebounds. Josie Hockman had 11 points and Madi Woods had 10 in the win.

The Grenadiers (7-2) opened the game on a 20-6 run and led 41-25 at halftime.

In the second half, Berea cut the to 41-29 to open the third quarter. Josie Hockman responded with 11-straight points to put the lead back to 52-35. Hockman scored 11 of the 16 IU Southeast points in the third quarter.

IU Southeast forced 20 turnovers and scored 16 points off the miscues. They outscored the Moutaineers 36-20 in the paint.

The Grenadiers host Lindsey Wilson Saturday at 1 p.m.
