NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team fell 5-0 to No. 23 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday.
The doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 3 positions were competitive with both teams falling 8-5. Garrett Fensler and TJ Brady were very competitive against the top doubles team of the Wildcats (Grant Esposito and Eli Steiner) which won the ITA Regional two weeks ago. But the Grenadiers found themselves in a 3-0 deficit after doubles play.
Fensler dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles and TJ Brady fell 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
IU Southeast travels to IU South Bend on Oct. 12.
