OXFORD, Ohio – The River States Conference announced the honorees for the 2026 River States Conference Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams. IU Southeast had two honorees.
Freshman Trey Gutgsell was named Second Team All-RSC. Gutgsell played in the one spot for most of the season and made a great impact in year one. Sophomore Paxton Evitts was named Third Team All-RSC. Evitts was great in the doubles matches. Gutgsell and Evitts helped lead the Grenadiers to the No. 5 seed in the upcoming River States Conference Men's Tennis Tournament.
The RSC also released the 2026 Men's Tennis Champion of Character Team. Those selected to the Champion of Character Team are nominated by their coaches for best exhibiting the five core values the NAIA embraces, which are Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship. Representing IU Southeast men's tennis on the 2026 RSC Men's Tennis Champions of Character Team is Brennan Cooper.
IU Southeast will take on No. 4 IU East at 8:00 p.m. EST in round one.
