NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Senior third baseman Justice Kline was named the River States Conference Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Kline, a Bedford, Ind. native, appeared in three of the five Grenadier wins on the week and went 7-for 8 (.875) in the contests. She recorded two doubles and a home run while scoring four runs and drove in six. She had at least two hits in each contest she appeared in and went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and two runs scored against Lindenwood-Belleville on Sunday.
IU Southeast (15-11) swept Midway and Asbury on Friday and Saturday and took the first game of a doubleheader at Lindenwood-Belleville 11-9 before the second game was suspended due to rain.
Kline appeared in the Saturday sweep of Asbury and the game on Sunday vs Lindenwood-Belleville.
IU Southeast hosts Georgetown Tuesday at 3 p.m.
