NEW ALBANY, Ind. – IU Southeast softball has earned the two seed in this week's RSC Softball Conference Tournament.
The one seed in the tournament will be the preseason favorite Rio Grande, who finished the regular season 27-5 in RSC play. Both IU Southeast and Oakland City finished 22-10 in RSC play, but IU Southeast gets the two seed due to a 3-1 regular season record against Oakland City. This gives the Mighty Oaks the three seed.
The four seed goes to Shawnee State, who went 22-11 in RSC play. Both SMWC and IU Columbus finished 13-19 in league play, but SMWC went 3-1 against IUC, so the Pomeroys get the five seed. IU Columbus rounds out the field as the six seed.
