NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) unveiled its program grade-point average rankings and Easton NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. The NAIA had 666 student-athletes respresented.  Team GPAs and scholar-athletes are submitted by member head coaches.

IU Southeast was ranked No. 30 in the Easton/NFCA NAIA team GPA rankings with a 3.3 GPA. Eight Grenadiers earned recognition as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes: Brynlea Bennett, Kendall Brown, Ysa Fox, Savannah Gaither, Morgan Jenks, Haley Smith, Madison Wathen and Alaina Winzeler.

The Grenadiers are the highest-ranked team from the River States Conference in the rankings.
