"Great showing for both the men's and women's teams this week with the men finishing second and the women third," IU Southeast golf head coach
Matt Graston said. "The men had three players in the top 11 (Westin Allen, Luke Graston, and Evan Trester) and the women had two in the top 5 (
Emma Rowland and
Rachael Shaffer). Proud of everyone on both teams. It was a tough course that no one had played prior to our practice round so they had to scout and learn the course quickly. We struggled some on the greens but overall, I am very pleased with out first tournament results. We have a great group of players that support and push each other. It's great to see how well the men's and women's teams come together as one."
IU Southeast returns to action on Oct. 6 at the RSC Fall Preview.
