NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Senior guard
Jesse Ledgerwood was named River States Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
The Washington, Ind. native averaged 22.5 points, 3.0 assists and one steal in a pair of wins last week.
On Jan. 20, the Grenadiers defeated IU Columbus 92-62. Ledgerwood had 17 points and five assists in the win. On Jan. 24, she helped IU Southeast to a 91-79 win over Shawnee State. She had 28 points and tied the IU Southeast record for career three-point field goals made.
For the week, Ledgerwood shot 36 percent from the field but was 9-fo-23 from three-point range (39.1) percent.
IU Southeast takes on IU Kokomo and Midway this week.
