"This is a great way for us to start conference play," said Reel. "With that said, we still have a lot of work to do for our guys to get where they want to be this season. I am also very proud of how we ran the bases this weekend. We stole a lot of bases and it paid off for us offensively."
The Grenadiers will not relax and reflect on this weekend's victories for very long according to Reel, "It might be spring break week but we are going to get back to the hard work that has allowed us to play so well on Monday morning before traveling to Bellarmine University on Tuesday."
The Grenadiers are combining for a .308 batting average and have outscored opponents 172-116 in 24 games.
