NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The IU Southeast men's tennis dropped a close match 5-4 to the Asbury University Eagles at home on Saturday afternoon.

IU Southeast lost two close doubles matches 8-5 and 9-8(7-5) which turned out to be the deciding factor in the match.

Junior Evan Biesterveld won a marathon singles match for the Grenadiers 3-6, 6-2, 7-6(7-3). Other winners for the Grenadiers included Shane Burke 6-2, 6-1 and Jimmy Nungester 6-2, 6-3.

The Grenadiers are back in action on Monday when they travel to Danville, Ky. to face Centre College at 4 p.m.
