NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast baseball team picked up wins in two of its three games against perennial power Tennessee Wesleyan over the weekend.

The Grenadiers' offense was a key factor in all three games this weekend. The Grenadiers scored at least five runs in every game in the series.

Frank Pluskota and Marcus Howard had standout offensive performances. Pluskota finished the series hiting .363 (4 for 11) and scored four runs while knocking in three. Howard hit .400 (4 for 10) and scored five runs.

Kyle Rupe, Shane Weedman, Evan Bickett and Derek Gross all had strong pitching performances during the series. Rupe picked up his first win as a Grenadier on Saturday.
