NEW ALBANY, Ind. - IU Southeast cruised to 9-0 win over Hanover without dropping a single set in the home opener for the 2015 spring season on Tuesday.
Doubles continued to play well making quick work of its opponents and carried that momentum over to singles.
Jacob Rankin got things started with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number 3 singles. Bryson Mills and Chris Braun were quick to follow at 5 and 6 singles to clinch the match.
"Our team showed great effort and focus today in order to take control of the match early and never lose that momentum," head coach Joe Epkey said. The Grenadiers head to Alabama next week to play four matches during spreak break, including facing No. 3 Auburn-Montgomery on April 22.
