NEW ALBANY, Ind. - Indiana University Southeast senior Shane Weedman was named the KIAC baseball pitcher of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, March 16.

Weedman earned a pair of wins in two outings last week as the Grenadiers finished the week 6-2. The senior pitcher earned the win in a 6-3 victory against Trinity Christian College. He pitched two innings and struck out four Trinity batters. He also earned the win in a 7-4 victory against Marygrove College. Weedman struck out four Marygrove batters in 2.1 innings.

Indiana University Southeast is 10-4 overall. They will return to action on March 17 when they travel to Lindsey Wilson College.
