NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team dispatched Oakland City easily 9-0 on Friday, dropping just nine games combined.

The Grenadiers opened the match with three quick wins in doubles play. Jonathan James and Chris Braun defeated Zach Robinson and Eddie Vasquez 8-2, Austin LaFollette and Nick Roby picked up an 8-1 win and Bryson Mills and Jacob Rankin won convincingly 8-0.

In singles play, Nicky Roby won easily 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles over Zach Robinson. Jonathan James picked up a 6-4, 6-1 win over Preston Browning at No. 2 singles. Jacob Rankin and Bryson Mills each won with identical 6-0, 6-0 scores at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively. Chris Braun won 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 5 spot and Austin LaFollette won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.

The Grenadiers host Huntington Saturday at 2 p.m.
