NEW ALBANY, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team opened its fall dual match season Sunday with a convincing 9-0 win over visiting Berea College.
The Grenadiers (1-0) started off strong in doubles play winning at all three positions 8-0.
In singles action, IU Southeast did not drop a set and only lost a total of seven games on its way to a 9-0 victory. Freshmen Garrett Fensler, Brock Winchell and Sam Venter all got their first dual match victories of their college careers off to a great start with all three players winning 6-0,6-0.
IU Southeast is now 17-0 vs Berea dating back to 2006.
The Grenadiers travel to Hanover College Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
