NEW ALBANY, Ind. - The women's tennis team dominated a pair of conference matches defeating Midway and Carlow 9-0 over the weekend. On Friday the women hosted Midway and won all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. In singles play the Grenadiers had close matches at the top two positions with Dana Frank and Tam Horton both winning their first sets in tiebreakers before finishing off their opponents in the second set.
Continuing their strong play the women traveled to Carlow on Saturday and did not drop a set. Freshman Camille Greenwell did not give up a game winning 8-0 at No. 2 doubles with partner Lauren Winchell, she also won her singles match 8-0 in a pro-set with the match already decided.
The Grenadiers (5-6, 3-0 RSC) will travel to Ohio Christian on Monday before hosting Alice Lloyd on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
