MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- (RV) IU Southeast had senior lefty Andrew Yates toss a three-hit shutout to earn River States Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week for March 4-10.

Yates, a native of Harrodsburg, Ky., through all 7.0 innings in a 2-0 victory over Midway (Ky.) last Friday. He struck out five, walked one and finished off a three-game sweep for the Grenadiers. He ranks No. 25 in the NAIA in total runs allowed with five.

IU Southeast (13-7, 4-2 RSC) has its next games at Campbellsville (Ky.) on Tuesday.
