OWENSBORO, Ky. - The IU Southeast men's tennis team came away with two dominating wins on Friday in Owensboro. They defeated Kentucky Wesleyan 7-0 in the first match of the day followed by an 8-1 conference victory over Brescia in the afternoon.

The Grenadiers made swift work of KWC only dropping a couple games along the way to their 7-0 victory.

In the second match of the day against Brescia the only close match came at No. 1 singles where Garrett Fensler dropped another close third set tiebreak. The rest of the Grenadiers took care of business with convincing victories at every other position. Most notably Brock Winchell won 6-2, 6-3 over a good opponent at No. 2 singles for the Bearcats. The Grenadiers have now won five straight matches. Next up after spring break is a tournament at Indiana Wesleyan April 5-6.

"Our men have looked good over the last couple of weeks and after a little time off over spring break we will look to continue our momentum when we return with some very challenging matches ahead.", head coach Joe Epkey said.
