MASON, Ohio – The IU Southeast men's tennis team saw its season end with a 5-1 loss in the River States Conference Men's Tennis Championship on Saturday at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.
IU Southeast (11-11) trailed 2-1 after doubles. The No. 3 doubles team of Alec Bates and Jerid Inman defeated Shane Mustor and Luiz Gustavo Hartkopf 8-6.
Asbury (13-3) picked up singles victories at No. 1, 5 and 6 singles positions to earn their third-straight RSC Tournament Championship. The closest match was a 6-4, 6-3 decision at No. 5 singles when Julian Tellez defeated Inman.
With the exception of graduate student Alec Bates, the Grenadiers are set to return the rest of the roster for the 2019-2020 season.
