HANOVER, Ind. - The women's tennis team swept Hanover without dropping a single set. Doubles play started off strong with 8-2 wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. The No. 3 doubles team of Kate Heuchan and Sarah VanIsenberg won 8-0 at #3.
The dominating play continued into singles action as the Grenadiers only dropped two total games at the top three singles spots. Sarah VanIsenberg had the closest match of the day winning 6-3, 7-6 at the No. 6 position.
"I was proud of the focus our women's team showed today," head coach Joe Epkey said. " I think we are getting better as the season goes and I look forward to seeing what this team can do as conference play approaches."
Next up for the Grenadiers they travel to Marian on Friday, March 12.
