EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team fell 4-3 to Brescia University in opening round of the 2023 River States Conference Men's Tennis Tournament.

IU Southeast picked up the doubles point as Eli Franks and Noah Neuhauser won 7-6 (11-9) at No. 1 doubles and Aiden De Witt and Camden Jones won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.

Eli Franks cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles and Aiden De Witt won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles But the Bearcats won at the five and six positions to get back in the match.

They tied the match with a win a No. 3 singles and won the match in three sets 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 as Joao Paolo de Carvahlo defeated Noah Neuhauser.
