JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. - The IU Southeast men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Midway on Sunday.
In doubles play, Midway took the doubles point but both the No. 1 and No. 2 teams of
Connor Mason/
Camden Jones and
Keith Asplund/
Miguel Sampaio both lost close 7-5 matches.
In singles play,
Connor Mason defeated Daniel Pinzon 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and
Owen Law defeated Manuel Mirabel 6-2, 6-3.
Miguel Sampaio lost a close match 6-4, 7-6 at No. 3 singles and
Keith Asplund fell 6-4, 7-5 at No. 4 singles.
Eric Whitehouse jumped out to an early lead before falling 6-4, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.
IU Southeast travels to Asbury on April 3.
