JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team rolled past Hanover 6-1 on Senior Day.
In double play, the Grenadiers earned the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
The pairing of
Keith Asplund and
Owen Law won 6-3 at No. 2 doubles and
Eric Whitehouse and
Miguel Sampaio earned a hard-fought win 7-5.
The top pairing of Conner Mason and
Camden Jones lost a close match 6-4.
In singles play, Mason bounced back with a convincing 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.
Camden Jones won 6-1, 7-6 at No.2 singles and both
Keith Asplund and
Owen Law got quick wins 6-1, 6-3 ad 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
Miguel Sampaio won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
IU Southeast travels to Earlham College on Friday.
