FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team defeated Saint Francis 6-1 to end the regular season on Sunday.
The Grenadiers earned the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Keith Asplund and
Owen Law won 6-4 and
Eric Whitehouse and
Miguel Sampaio won 6-2.
In singles, the Grenadiers won in straight sets in five out of six positions.
Connor Mason 7-5, 7-6 (5).
Camden Jones won 6-3, 6-3.
Owen Law and
Eric Whitehouse picked up convincing wins, 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0, respectively at No. 4 and No. 6 positions.
Miguel Sampaio won 6-2, 6-2.
IU Southeast will open RSC Tournament play on Friday morning in Evansville. Brackets and tournament information will be released later this week.
