FRANKLIN, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team cruised past Franklin 9-0 on Sunday.
IU Southeast swept doubles play with the No. 1 and No. 3 teams of
Connor Mason and
Camden Jones and
Eric Whitehouse and
Miguel Sampaio winning by 8-5 scores. The No. 2 team of
Keith Asplund and
Owen Law won 8-4.
In singles play, five of the six matches were won in straight sets.
Camden Jones won convincingly 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and
Eric Whitehouse battled back after dropping the first set to win the second 6-3 and then a 10-3 tiebreaker.
IU Southeast hosts Shawnee State Friday at 3 p.m. on Senior Day.
