FRANKLIN, Ind. – The IU Southeast men's tennis team defeated Franklin College 4-3 on Saturday behind several clutch performances, including
Doran Martin's singles victory.
IU Southeast claimed the doubles point, winning two of the three matches.

Trey Gutgsell won at #1 Doubles 6-3 and
Paxton Evitts/
DJ Hall won at #2 Doubles 7-6 (7-3).
Keith Asplund won at #1 Singles 6-2, 6-2 and
Trey Gutgsell won at #2 Singles 6-4, 6-3. Franklin College won at #3 Singles, #4 Singles, and #6 Singles which tied the teams at 3-3.
The match came down to #5 Singles.
Doran Martin won set one 7-5 but dropped set two 7-5. The third set was as close as it could get, with
Doran Martin edging out an 11-9 win to give IU Southeast a 4-3 victory.
IU Southeast will be the four seed in the upcoming RSC Tournament.
